Those lights at the bottom of the car are going to get chipped like crazy.
If anything even remotely close to this design reaches production, I can virtually guarantee they'll drop the full vertical lines and just follow the lines at the bottom of the light - keeping with their "bent L" style lights. Agree those would be insane... but most concept cars wouldn't fare well in actual use.

Honestly one of the more interesting looking EVs compared to other options. I'd get one on a lease for a few years to see how it is.

ooh nice. always wanted a minigun or missile launcher on the car. Perhaps this EV will feature a plasma gun. Road rage here I come.

If it's cheaper than a 3 litre Supra and drives as well as a Boxster, I think it's a smart move and could motivate enthusiasts to go BEV.

Good point, considering they have invested so much time in developing a simulated manual transmission interface for their enthusiast EVs. I also see no stick and third pedal in this concept car.

I don't think it'll be cheaper than a Supra MKV 3.0L if it's going to have solid state battery cells in the near timeframe. Several years from now that technology should come down in price as production for it scales up.

I don't think we have anything to worry about as to how well it will drive, especially if it's got solid state tech.

But if it does not have a solid state battery pack it will be very hard for them to deliver on the promise of this concept car. Just my opinion but I don't think the design teams are considering lithium-ion packs for this one. Maybe, possibly bipolar lithium cells but even then I think there would still be too much weight and compromise for a proper sportscar.

Toyota/Lexus is set to sell at least one of their models with a solid state battery pack starting in 2025 or 2026 so even the cell tech alone is that far out from commercial introduction.
