If the MT is indeed coming, a safe bet would be that it will be wildly available rather than restricted to a special edition. You know, R&D cost amortization and all that. It wouldn't make sense for them to develop and integrate a different transmission just for a limited edition model.

What did you tell them? Did they even know what it was to accept the deposit and did they say 100k or no details whatsoever

There’s been an actual reveal and detailed engine info revealed about the z06 and I’ve seen one in person. I don’t consider that “little info”

that is true. It is closer to reality than the GRMN. But people have had deposits on them before any info and they still don’t know pricing, power, specs either.

I am ok taking a flyer on the GRMN

worse case Toyota has my little deposit $ for a year or two

best case: I get a super limited end of an ICE era Supra
