Looking for the best rates and most reliable. I just got a quote from Hagerty for 3 days @ $400 for HPDE with Nasa. what are more options?

I paid $155 for 1 day with Hagerty for a car worth half the Supra, so I think your quote is pretty good. Think about the the $50+/day damage waivers there are for rental driving activities that only limit your responsibility whereas track insurance cuts you a nice check (minus deductible).

$133/day doesn’t sound so bad.

I chose Hagerty based on my research (of anecdotes) of companies that pay out without hassle.

Potential lower premium wasn’t worth the risk of a company giving me the runaround after I just put my car into a wall.

$400 for 3 days is dirt cheap. Jump on it.
I use Hagerty/Lockton because they seem to be most reasonable. I would kill to only spend $400 over a weekend. One day for the Supra is like $250 or something like that.

Do they issue "track" life insurance as well? Asking for my friend Ricky Bobby, but really my better half... watching me burn up and get a check...? Sounds like a great holiday season.

$400 for 3 days is a no brainer IMO. I think I paid $300 for 1 day for my first HPDE with NASA and I didn't regret it at all, purely for the peace of mind.

Most regular life insurance policies can include an amendment to cover motorsports.

I probably should had added I am only doing 1 day events currently. I wasn't aware you could get only 1 day from Hagerty.

It’s been a while for me. I see what you’re saying about the 3-day thing on their website. Might be worth calling them if they have a number and just checking if they can get you a reduced one day rate.

Don’t skimp out on track insurance. It seems expensive but worth every penny.

Did you see the Pistons and Pixie Dust incident at Supras in Vegas this year? A perfectly good A91 totaled because a guy in the other lane lost control and t-boned her husband.

Man I paid $600 for a Barber Motorsports event with Hagerty. It was $600 for one day or $600 for two days. I’ve noticed they are the same price for one day or 3…

Dang I’ve always heard track insurance is about 1% of the cars value per day. This sounds like a good price
