Toyota recommended something like Dexron 3? I haven’t seen people talk about this- Google said they’re not the same fluid or similar at all. Should Supra owners be using ZF fluids or what Toyota recommends?Lifeguard 8 part # ZF S67109031201
It would be weird to use ZF recommend fluids in a ZF transmission, right?Toyota recommended something like Dexron 3? I haven’t seen people talk about this- Google said they’re not the same fluid or similar at all. Should Supra owners be using ZF fluids or what Toyota recommends?
I drained 6.1 liters from mine when I changed it. 5 liters isn’t enough if you change the pan.Get it from FCP Euro for free replacement: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/lifeguard-8-automatic-transmission-fluid-1-liter-s67109031201
Full Kit but comes with too many bottles. You only need 5 so you could buy the panel/filter and 5 bottles for a little cheaper: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-ga8hp45z-ga8hp70z-auto-trans-service-kit-24118612901kt
You say this but the ZF8 is pretty sensitive. For example, I've heard from multiple people that Lifeguard 9 is not recommended and it must be 8. It feels not super straight forward when I hear things like this.It would be weird to use ZF recommend fluids in a ZF transmission, right?
