Too funny! I ended up going the 20-year-old-Italian route, as well. I didn't intend to.. at all.. just kinda happened. Slower than my Supra around the race track? Yes. Worth it? Oh, my. All the yeses. I can't decide which I like more: The intake noise next to my left ear or the exhaust at 8500RPM screaming..well... everywhere.
But I still want another Supra as a track day car. It's why I still post here. Well.. that and to keep the Track Times thread updated.

I remember being asked to show this Toronto doctor around Calabogie in his 1-week old red convertible f430.

After a lap, he said he didn’t want to drive. We spent a fun day together where I enjoyed driving his car! Another regret not getting the 458 thereafter!!

Great cars, and very different driving experience, but with how difficult it has become to obtain some of the parts, some of us went the other direction for peace of mind.

i think you nailed it - cars are beautiful and fun and sound amazing

at one point, i forgot this while chasing lap times and ever-higher goals of motorsport
I like the cut of your jib.

We usually drive cars when we have somewhere to go, but we buy cars like these to enjoy how the make us feel. It's an intangible. And we don't owe anyone an explanation for wanting to experience that.

Unless you're married. Choose wisely.

About 2 months ago, I sold my 2023 Supra and purchased my childhood dream car - Lambo Gallardo (pre-LP).

The Supra was fun but the NA v10 paired with a fabspeed catless exhaust is just something else. I still miss my Supra every time I see another one on the road but overall happy with my decision. Good luck to yall if you're thinking about jumping into another platform.

Nice car for sure, good luck with it!
On a different note, where did you get that fender vent for the Supra? Or is it a complete new hood? I like it!

Glad to see the thread recover and become about automotive enthusiasm vs being a dick for no reason.

It's enjoyable to see people be happy about their car purchases. Any time someone gets to buy (one of) their dream car(s) it's a good day.

I don't even get why people were so toxic about it in the first place, the Gallardo is an amazing car for the money. Sure it's older and comes with Lambo problems, but OP already knew that going into it, and it doesn't make it any less of an awesome ride.

Nice choice and glad to see you checking something off your bucket list. Life's too short my man ... enjoy it!
