sorry you are going through this BS, but I gotta admit, it’s really reassuring to know this is also impacting later builds as well, not just 6/20 or 7/20 builds
Could be impacting every Supra. Only time will tell. Nobody really knows... :(

Welp. Came home today and checked the oil. I'm at 2104 miles, on original oil with a build date of 01/21. Bad news lol especially cause I was gonna make a drive tomorrow. Should I make a dealer appointment tomorrow or wait for the low oil warning?

Well, that sucks...have the same build date as you ?

Ended up taking my car into the dealer ahead of time today to make an appointment for an oil consumption test next Monday. It might be a little premature but I'll be putting on at least another 400 miles on the car this weekend so I expect that the oil will bottom out somewhere along then.

The service tech basically said that they weren't aware of any oil burning issues and even though I was at min just not to do anything until a warning pops up. He basically said I shouldn't worry a ton cause at the end of the day I still have a warranty (lol, makes me feel a lot better).

Just about 2,000 miles.
About 6 launches, lots of high revving for the pops n bangs, 42 complete laps of Laguna Seca (top speed of 125mph), and oil has been reading full (been checking every couple hundred miles).

Date on the door sill says 12/20.

Replying to my own post as a follow up.
2,200 miles now, ran the test a few times, different areas, inclines, etc.
Half-way mark from Max after 250 miles.

Engine swap tech sheet. Engine Assy, part is the complete motor. Was told 20K for the engine alone. Not a cheap endeavor to perform on all the affected vehicles. So far no issues, runs like new, as it should have in the first place. I’ll keep everyone posted.

I'm sitting at 3,400miles (5,500kms) and I've been watching the oil consumption. It's been at the 3/4 low mark for a few weeks. I suspect the low oil light will come on in the next couple of days once the last green bar disappears. I have a build date of 03/20. I'm pretty easy on the car, and haven't even floored it yet.

Did they mention what they changed with the new engine so it would not score cylinders and burn oil?
