I think you should start to worry about getting your car 100% before doing literally anything else right now.
For sure i get that. Im probably going to wait a few months to tune to see if everything pans out first.

@Twisted Tuning so what your saying is I would probably have to unlock the ecu again which i assume my tuner would charge me again most likely? Would you charge your customers again? Also would my ecutek license still be good? Or would i have to buy another one.

yes you would need to unlock again. Whether or not your tuner charges you, is up to them. A situation like that, i wouldn't. But beware with Ecutek, you will probably get charged because you will lose the flash license if the dealer flashes the ecu. So at a minimum you'll be paying for the flash license. Unless Ecutek reimbursed the flash license.

Just had my car tuned on Ecutek running 93 pump gas. I was running stage 2 OTS BM3. I don't have any baseline pulls on BM3 as I flashed the car to stock before it was put on the dyno. I'm impressed with the way the car feels now. The power delivery is extremely refined compared to BM3. The car was tuned by Mike Botti and he was awesome all the way through the process, really down to earth and friendly guy. My mod list is Titan Motorsports catless downpipe, MST Instake, and Boost Logic non valved system.

wow, it looks nice. Have you get a chance to do 60-130mph or 100-200 kph runs with the current setup? I got 8.36s for 100-200kph. EcuTek stg2 as well. I didn't go on dyno yet.

Just a heads up for big turbo guys running on pump gas (Even with methanol)

520whp map tuned during summer, cooler weather now & car is apparently making more power. This adds more work on the fuel system and fuel flow limit is easily reached in high load scenarios (5th gear and up)

Car adds boost when out of fuel to reach requested targets, even with a limit in place, boost goes up high (28psi +)

Pulled back on power all back to normal and tuner working hard in finding a way around this..

Seen this happen to a few guys I know since most are running port injection which eliminates this

Have one question about ecutek.
After a flash from master tuner can you open and further edit the maps? Seems not possible for the Supra and only tuners can make changes ?

Correct, you as the end user can't edit the tune. But the tuner can setup a few things with racerom that you can adjusr via the mobile app

I got a ecutek custom tune but the cold start was not disabled. Can i disable the cold start from the ecu connect app? Or will the tuner have to send me a new map to flash?

Like visconti said, No, your tuner has to do it. So reach out to whoever that is

I don't have a Supra yet, just doing my pre-purchase research. I've been looking at used MY20 so I don't have the lock edu problem of the MY21's. I am going to do Pure800, DP, and Ecutek whenever I get the car. My question is, if the PO took the car to dealership and they did the ecu reflash/update, will I still be able to unlock the ecu to do Ecutek or would I be SOL until they unlock the 2021s? Is there a way of knowing if this update was done prior to purchasing the car?
