Shitttt I just joined these forums but I work at Toyota dealership and I’ve seen these in incoming inventory for a month or two now. I thought everyone already knew ?? there’s 3 types. At least what shows
It (rumors, leaks vids, pics, dealer info etc.) was all posted on the old manual thread, but this is the first time that we seen something official from Toyota.

I keep reading about deposits… Guys, do yourselves a favor. Don’t give a dealership any of your monies at this time. A vehicle that doesn’t exist in Toyota’s retail database is also one that can’t be found to even put a deposit on. They are simply taking you out of the market.

Only trying to be helpful. Any dealer that tells you they have a deposit ask them for the interim VIN.
Wrong. That's exactly what I did for my A91, and exactly what I did for a GRC. It shows the dealer you're serious, and in turn Toyota.
I gave the dealer a $1k deposit the day after the A91 was unveiled, got my paperwork saying MSRP, as soon as the allocations were known I knew I was getting one, then we specced the car, little later I got my VIN, little after that I drove the car home.

Doing the exact same process for a GRC.

That would be very odd considering the low take rate for the 2.0.
Please stop saying 'take rate' when you don't mean 'take rate.'

Take rate plays a key role in calculating revenue, as total revenue is calculated by multiplying take rate by gross merchandising volume.
Take rate is simply Rev/GMV, not adaptation rate.

I like the AT in my '20 Supra just fine. If I get the itch to "row some gears", I take a drive in my old MKIII. Sure, there's really no comparison between a MKIII and a MKV, but the MKIII is still fun to drive.

I'll be keeping my MKV with its AT. Paddle shifting is just as rewarding.

But the Manuel Supra has a soul, don't you care about driving man? At least that's what I heard

I've had a lot of sports cars over the years, some auto/dct and some manual. I've decided for myself--and it's not even close--that the fun and engagement from driving a manual transmission outweighs the performance advantages of an automatic. I am not chasing lap times and quartermile tenths anymore.

So this announcement is what will bring me back into the fold. My Vette is a great car... better than I expected it to be. But I've always been a JDM fan at heart. I'm prepared to wait until the dealerships aren't gouging people with markups though, so I'm guessing 2024.

Not my picture but falls in line with the real model numbers of today. This might be it.
Yeah, that looks correct.

I locked in my position as first on our "list" for the MT yesterday. The real nail-biter for me is wondering what color combos I'll be able to pick from.
