I'll be very upfront with you you don't know as much as you think that's the reality. BMW and Toyota relationship is not bad but not the best. I'm strictly talking about US sales here.
I'm not claiming to know anything regarding what goes on behind the doors with Toyota and BMW. All I'm saying is a Japanese publication with a good track record says it happening. Ok, so the bigger picture is world wide sales, which is probably closer to 50/50.

So the G29 does better in Europe and the J29 does better in the U.S. What does this have to do with a possible GRMN model? I really don't know, I'm not in marketing or production development.

I'm assuming you guys are referring to ynguldyn? Before he deletes all of his post to save face here is everything he has said regarding the manual.
He also called us fools that are not well versed in BMW ways on the BMW side. The past aside, I doubt he'll ever post on here again.

In general all the info coming out of Japan have been pretty spot on.

I'm happy the option is finally available! I've always been a fan of manuals. However, I'll keep my '20 ZF8.

It'll be interesting to see how many of the automotive journalists, bloggers and vloggers who wished for a manual from the beginning, ditched the Supra and jumped the bandwagon in favor of the 400Z because it offers a manual will come back again with their tails between their legs. Lol. :rolleyes1:

Now, what'll be the difference between the 3.0 Premium and the 3.0 SE? :hmm:

I'm sure they will just pivot to complaining about it being a "BMW" instead ;)

I don't believe rumors until I see test cars that aren't mules for another new chassis not a current one
