"Also I don’t think the Cayman was mentioned for promotional reasons. Because they’ve actually beaten the 911 CarreraS with it already in testing, haha."

:)
That stood out. Now my question and hopefully you can answer.

Was this recently? Or was this when they were practicing in 2016 with the 997 GT3 RS?

Cause lord have mercy, what the hell do they have under that thing if it weighs 3250 and supposedly only have 350 HP? I know it's similar but man, they must have really outdid themselves!

That is also something that I don't understand.

Granted, the specs are not officially released, but How does a car with (supposedly only) 350hp and ~3300 lbs achieve that? And also, those specs don't nessisarily equal 0-100km in <4 seconds either:hmm:

Don't get me wrong, i hope this is all true and there's just something that we are missing (such as more HP and/or less weight than we think, and perhaps that electric assist off the line)

Mannnnn, am I glad that Moto-San posted this. I've been wanting to post this for months now loll.

This was referencing a 991.1 C2S (I'm fairly sure), not a GT3 or a Turbo S or anything like that. 400hp and 3170lbs with PDK. 991.2 is a bit faster, so we'll have to see how it faires against that later (and the 992 as well!).

Define "Beaten"... Nurburgring? Fuji? Quarter mile? 0-60? Hockenheim? Spa? :feedback:

I’m confused, I thought we could expect 3060 pounds, not 3300ish.
I Think we're expecting the lower number for the 4 Cylinder and the Higher number for the 6 Cylinder. That's my thoughts on it any ways,

Watching the Goodwood run footage from last week, I can assure you it will not be your average sports coupe.
