Hope it doesnt ride stiff like a shopping cart.
The beauty of a low center of gravity is that the dampers can be tuned softer to target the same amount of roll, due to less levered mass.

It won't be a Bentley, but Toyota has genuine wizards when it comes to damping.

I Think we're expecting the lower number for the 4 Cylinder and the Higher number for the 6 Cylinder. That's my thoughts on it any ways,
Oh lol hopefully the 6 cyl ends up being closer to 3k than indicated, I personally am huge on lightweight and 3300 kinda starts to escape that territory imo.

must resist urge to elaborate...

Anyhow, it would be either Spa or the 'Ring, but I believe both were Spa (I know that's where the Supra embarrassed the Z4)
By embarrassed in seconds, I'll ask in this reference. On one hand, two hands or more in regards to seconds? I'm speaking about the Z4, I'm sure if we hear anything more about the Carrera, it'll be from Moto.

A70 can elaborate on that story if he wants to again, but I'll just say, the Z4 ass-whupping was well before pre-production and improvements were made to the Z4 because of it. It was a good surprise for the BMW engineers though.

And it was a lot of seconds lol.

Hm, are we talking a whole 2 minute difference? Like the one noted on the GR concept?

If it can lap both the Carrera and Z4 at 60k, it's making my patience run thin that we must wait so long and not see any videos of it going all out.

yeah, it's something I've commented on before but 10 seconds originally before Tada took over.

the elaboration is the why in regards to Porsche, but there are ultimately still things I can't say despite dropping a ton of hints about it.

It's fine, you don't have to hurt yourself for giving us hints. I'm just curious if Porsche decided to revamp their lineup by going a bit overboard with improvements to the 911 and Cayman after hearing BMW and Toyota are doing something together to separate the gap between them.

Or maybe my tin-foil hat is on too tight today.

Porsche's engineers are aware I'm sure, but they have their own timeline for the evolution of the 911 and are developing that platform at a very consistent pace. The 992 will be a weapon for sure, the 991.2 is already so much quicker than the 991.1. Same goes for Cayman and 718 platform.

So Moto thinks the 4 cyl is coming to the US. I still think the I6 will be the more popular choice. Looking at the A80 the turbos almost outsold the NAs 2 to 1. I think the majority of buyers for the B48 will be a hand full of 86 owners, women, and people looking to do 2JZ swaps.
