Differential oil change

No problem, you will also have to take off the weight dampener to get to the fill plug.
Appreciate it man. Any special tools for that? I didn't see anything special blocking it during a quick peek.

Dampener is attached to the subframe via an E12 torx bolt. Torque spec is 21 ft lbs.

You can avoid removing that damper if you use a low profile allen key on the differential fill plug.
If you take this route you'll have to figure out how to torque that plug to spec.

hi bry, can i get the link to this? can't find much myself, need to change the diff fluid, was going to refer to BMW M instructions as reference.. proper instructions would be nice

edit: unless this is all i need to know?

That’s all you need to know. It’s super simple. Unplugging the sensor and filling up the diff is the only difficult part about this.

Yeah, no worries.
Unplugging the sensor was the only tricky part. I didn’t wanna break the tab. But you have to press pretty hard. (At least in my case)
Just make sure you have a pump to add the fluid back in. Fill until it comes out the hole. And reinstall everything. Super easy.

I have a PDF from Toyota that's over 1000 pages (I think) with DIY instructions. I can send it afterwards today
