broke mine by the block FML. Used rapid fix and put a vac connector so I could get the fuel line on until my replacement comes which I will also be updating to the line. These are a nightmare to get on with an aftermarket intake and the amount of room that's there.

When installing the MST v2 intake pipe, I broke about half of the incredibly fragile clip that holds the breather hose into place into the bottom intake pipe. The tube still seats properly into the intake and appears to be mostly sealed. It also looks like it's a bitch to replace the entire hose.

Do I just need to bite the bullet, remove everything, and replace this hose?

Man, these were the good ol' days, weren't they?

I've noticed a trend in recent years on other brands and maybe Toyota is the same that many of these retaining clips and like hardware are prone to breakage more in the cold weather than the warmer months. Even here at winter temps of 5-15 deg C they seem far more fragile than in summer at 25 degC +. Never used to be like this. Material changes and universal OEM suppliers maybe. Not sure but winter work these days more plastic stuff seems to break than before I think.

Son this shit just happened to me on my m340i Right after I read this post.?
Haha, I just broke the clip that connects hose to the turbo inlet, I've let the hose just sit into the hole and having gravity purely hold it in and so far after driving for a few weeks the hose hasn't came undone. Already ordered a new one, gonna be a pain to replace that shit : (
