I know some people like yourself running 305 on rear 10" OEM but heard mixed things about it being a detriment to cornering 2/2 SW bulge
I ran 305/30R19 RT660 on the stock wheels once, and cornering was very unsettled. The worst thing was the little wiggle the rear end did when mashing the throttle on the highway. I wouldn't do it again, nor recommend it.

Have you experienced the same behavior with 295?

Never ran them, but presume the behavior would be similar..just a little less instability.

I just put on my big-boy pants and bought 19x11 APEX SM-10s, which match the tires flawlessly.

Thanks for creating this post, exactly what i was looking for. I've got stock wheels on mine, same spacers, though i'm on stock suspension because i like the carbon on my car. Just ordered the same tire setup. Hope you're still liking the RT660's.

Do you need spacers to put 295 in the rear on OEM setup?

Love the way she sits - Perfect now IMO

Falken RT660 295/35/19 rear and 265/35/19 front

15 mm and 13 mm spacers rear and front, respectively

Eibach Euro (Z4) lowering springs (0.8 inches all around)

No rubbing front or back, great ride, hooks great (big improvement)

Hope this helps others looking for a setup on 2023 OEM wheels

I have plenty more photos if you guys want. Just ask.

Looks great 👍

The wheel width (both front & rear) doesn’t match the tire size though

The front tire tread is 0.8 inch wider than the oem 9 inch wheel

The rear tire tread is 0.5 inch wider than the oem 10 inch wheel

You should go the opposite. Fit wheels that are wider than the tire tread.

For your chosen tire and sizes (RT660 265/35 + 295/35 19) you should be running at least a 10/10.5 combo or even better, a 10.5/11 combo for handling.

Hundreds of cars running 295/265 on stock wheels, perfectly fine. Few people are pushing their cars on the street anywhere near the limit that set up can handle (and should not be). Most people would notice no difference by upsizing the wheels. I agree with the specs you gave being a perfect fit for those tires though.

Has anyone run a 265/35/19 square setup on OEM wheels before? I’m considering it but not sure if it’d be smart going from 275->265 in the rear

A much better fitment for handling!

Did you notice any loss in acceleration power (off the line, in gear...etc) going from 275/35 to 295/35?

I’ve been running 275 front and 305 rear on stock wheels for awhile 13mm spacer front/10mm spacer back and yes there is a little bulge but i don’t find it unstable at all. As mentioned you shouldn’t be pushing that hard to overwhelm this setup on the street anyway. If you did track days better to match tire width with rim width to keep a firm sidewall profile for max cornering. I wouldn’t run my setup for a track day but I don’t do those I just like the acceleration And the looks. Pics of my setup with 275/305 spacers and stock launch edition rims.

Agreed - the budget didn't allow for new wheels but performance would be best with what you suggested. Every day driving has been fun and without any problems with handling. Will be going to track this weekend - will see how it feels like this.
