Not a Corvette.
I keep saying this but IMHO, the m240i looks worlds better.

I’m starting to see more and more new M2’s at track events and they haven’t grown on me at all. I might be in the minority here, but I think they look even worse in person. So bulky in not a good way.

You are in the minority. Everyone that has said they hated the new M2 in photos said it completely changed their mind when they seen mine in person. But that’s why we all have opinions. Even though I almost bought the mkv I didn’t like the pointy front nose.

As disappointing as it is, I've accepted BMW just can't make good looking cars anymore.

It's a shame since most of the F generation was really good looking.

At least there's still a BMW that wasn't styled by them.

I think it looks better in black.

Also the fact that you can option a CF roof for less than $3k is pretty nice

Seeing and then driving it changes alot of minds when it comes to the M2, and cars in general.
So true! Had a close call the other day. We had some rare free time together (wife and I). She wanted to go to the BMW dealer and play the game. Low offer, ask for better than average $$$ for her car. They had two on the lot. I had to come up with excuses pretty fast of other things she’s been wanting to do ?

It’s either that or a SUV. We’ve had record rain down here in SWFL. The MX5 is sitting up at the clubhouse because we couldn’t get it back to our house yesterday. The roads were so flooded. So that’s on her mind again ??‍♂ I’d much rather go the M2 route than get another SUV (we’ve always had at least one for about 15 years and said we’d never get one again).

To make the waters muddier, updates for 2025:

They didn't want to hurt your feelings lol. I think it looks ok and zandvoort blue would be my pick.

lol. Nah everyone is entitled to their opinions. I like the Supra a lot, but I like my m2 a lot too. I’d be happy with either.

Why not compromise and get the M5 wagon that is coming to North America. Best of both worlds. Mind you at likely 2X the cost of a M2.

I wonder if BMW uprated the engine in the M2 this year in anticipation of the Supra getting that engine and likely being rated at the old M2 power level? Thus creating a bit of separation between the two products.

the increase in power allows for a 0.1-second shave in 0-60 mph time for a 4.1-second sprint in manual transmission form and 3.9 seconds in dual-clutch garb.
I guess the extra weight does have its disadvantages!

The auto is faster than the supra and the auto weighs over 400lbs heavier too!

Oh. Wow. BMW apparently developed a new DCT for the M2 and we never knew about it.

These fucking "journalists" nowadays.
