Great to hear that you got it situated out!
IIRC you mentioned something about them screwing you over either not including the fitment plate or forgot about it.

Could you give us the insight for potential future buyers?
I could be interested if its stock feel that hold more torque
Yeah, when you order from their website based on your car, it only gives you the clutch, and doesn’t give you a fitment kit.

You have to go out of your way to order a fitment kit for the car you want to go with the clutch, as when you put your car info in the only thing that pops up is the clutches they offer for you car and nothing about the fitment parts.

They claim that when you add a clutch to your cart with your car model it will automatically add the fitment kit to your car but that wasn’t the case for me.

It only put the clutch for me, and after I received the clutch, I had to see that there was no fitment kit, then order it, then wait again.

Basically inconvenienced me by having to wait double shipping time.

Also heard mixed things from their support, some said the fitment kit will come with your clutch, but apparently not.

So as a fellow cu later 23' owner, if I were to order mine right now, I have to add both the clutch and the fitment kit manually?

I feel like something messed with the synchros or something a little, after shifting into first, and releasing the clutch, the shift handle moves like an inch more forward into 1st.
Also this something like a shifter bushing issue or the assembly, correct me if im wrong.

Update:

forgot to write an update before, but I got the uniclutch in with all the parts and had it installed.

I also did the full break in of it. At first, the clutch seemed way too soft and different, but after driving it for a couple hundred miles it feels just like OEM.

I feel like something messed with the synchros or something a little, after shifting into first, and releasing the clutch, the shift handle moves like an inch more forward into 1st.

But other than that the clutch is perfect, it’s rated for over 1000 tq, and it has 0 slip with what I am running, which is full bolt ons and E50, making about 600 torque or so.

I’m very satisfied with it, and would highly recommend it.

If anyone is interested in it message me and I can tell you the process I went through to get one.
Doing the lord’s work out. Thank you. We salute you for keeping us updated.

Maybe a Supra GTS 2023 MT, Kia Stonic GT, Mazda CX5 GT SP

Sounds more like the new clutch needs bleeding more. Possibly some clutch drag is making the first gear selection harder and the OP feels like it’s in gear but it’s only half in gear. As you release the clutch it pulls it in the rest of the way. You can get the opposite as well where it will kick out of gear as you release the clutch. The other option is they have somehow incorrectly installed the shifter assay or left mount bolts loose. Damaging the selector forks is unlikely unless a rock ape did the install

You might be right, as I didn’t do the entire bleed process all over again when I got the new clutch in as it was done just a couple thousand miles before I installed the clutch.

Can you please provide more details. Which clutch are you using and how much torque you have etc. Thanks

can you provide update on how the CM Fx1000 clutch drives , and how much faster do the revs drops between shifts due the the single mass flywheel?

Gearbox shudder acceptable or excessive ? And how much is it a sacrifice over OEM clutch in terms of driveability ?

Thanks
Anwar
Drove it around for 300 miles but it is now at the shop getting a flex fuel kit.

The clutch and hydraulic bearing are both great. The clutch will definitely take some getting used to and first gear is TOUGH, I stalled 3 times the first day I got the car back.

The rpms do not drop as fast surprisingly, the few runs i did shifting at high rpms felt so smooth i was mind blown, almost felt like I had no lift shift ?

Did some pulls on e40 and no slipping so that's always great.

Now for the gearbox shutter you can HEAR it more than you can FEEL it. Like, its noticeably loud for a new car, but this clutch is a bit overkill so i was expecting it and don't mind getting used to it.

Overall I don't think of it as a sacrifice over oem if you're looking to go bigger numbers.
You WILL have to get used to the weird engagement point and taking off on first gear. Other than that i think it's a great upgrade if you don't mind re learning your clutch

This was another option I am considering.

The only problem is that it doesn’t handle enough power and I need something that can handle more than 550-600 torque. Also clutch masters want you to buy their flywheel with it too or else it voids your warranty and all that.

I just placed an order on the Uni Clutch, which is pretty much the same price, works with stock flywheel, and has the same pedal feel as stock.

I saw your post about your stock clutch and how it was giving out, sorry to hear about your dealership experience. My question would be are you running everything stock? Or are you pushing more power?

When I has my car stock and just did a tune on it, I experienced a lot of clutch slip in 3rd gear or anything above that, this went on for about 2 weeks, then the clutch just stopped slipping, and it was great. I was running about 520 torque and it was doing fine.

Recently I ran E30, and this is when it started slipping again, so now I am replacing it.

I’m not sure as to why earlier it was slipping for me then it just fixed itself, but I doubt it’s gonna do that again.
the same thing happened to me, the clutch started slipping when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear while racing. The next day the clutch stopped slipping like it fixed itself and everything was perfect until I installed flex fuel this week and tried flex fuel stage 2 91 map. E40 + 91 octane (95 RON) and unfortunately it was slipping noticeably from 2nd to 3rd, even from 3rd to 4th. Now I’m looking to replace my clutch before it’s too late and I think it’s too late ?
I’m running 91 octane daily
downpipe, exhaust, cold air intake and charge pipe.

I have the FX400SS 8puck but it has less than 50 miles on it due to other issues right now. (https://www.supramkv.com/threads/clutch-slipping-issues-and-warranty-denial.22940/)

For now the pedal is much stiffer than I'd like as I daily the car. I haven't broken it in yet so I will get back to you on how it feels.

Just to update after a couple thousand miles. Clutch is much better and had the clutch pedal bushing kit installed after 500 miles on the new clutch.

The increased pedal pressure does not do well with the plastic pedal. It was bending and causing issues for driving. The bushing kit has resolved that. Hopefully someone comes out with a metal pedal as an aftermarket option as well. I would definitely recommend the clutch pedal bushing kit from clutchmasters for any upgraded clutch.

Now that it's broken in, it still stiff but tolerable for daily driving. Been holding power just fine for me. I'm making marginally above stock power though.
