The GR press release doesn't mention the US either.

There were rumors swirling that the MKVI would be powered by the GR Corolla’s engine or something similar with a hybrid variant. We are entering a new generation of automobiles and emissions I highly doubt the MKVI will have a 6 cylinderSad to see it go as well, but the language here gives me hope that there will be a Mk. VI. Maybe even with less BMW and more Toyota, though I wouldn’t be mad if the B58 sticks around or it goes by the wayside for the S58.
Not the GR Corolla's 3cyl engine-- A new turbo 4cyl 2.0L engine that hasn't been released yet, only announced and showcased. That engine is also slated for the new Celica and MR2 and other models. There were rumors swirling that the MKVI would be powered by the GR Corolla’s engine or something similar with a hybrid variant. I don’t think that’s quite right. The Australian Track Edition is the European EVO.That’s the EVO edition.
They’re releasing 2 limited edition models.

Same question popped into my head too, will hold off getting an uprated one made until more info becomes available I think.Any mention of upgrading the clutch? Seems like the final edition with more power is manual only.
The press release that says the version coming to the rest of the world outside Europe and Japan doesn't have the seats. There's obviously a U.S. version coming, hopefully it'll have the Recaro seats.
Ugh, figuresThe press release that says the version coming to the rest of the world outside Europe and Japan doesn't have the seats.
Speaking of youtubers...I think it was mostly the fake news and youtubers that kept on insisting that the spied car would featured a S58.
Where did it say this? The press release that says the version coming to the rest of the world outside Europe and Japan doesn't have the seats.
In all fairness to the final edition, at $100k it'd be competing with the 718 GT4 and with all the Supra GT4 parts/aero going on it, as well as the power/torque bump, and upgrade in braking capabilities and cooling. I wouldn't be surprised if they were faster than the GT4 on track. Especially with how punchy the B58 isThis thing is going to cost like 80-100k lol
