Outstanding quality. I'm excited to see the finished product in its entirety.

The immaculate build quality only makes me more nervous about the price 😅
Thats why we need a group buy to get the best deal possible! ;)

Sorry for the delay in updates. I am spending way too much time trying to get the inner duct surface quality acceptable. The goal was to have both the inner and outer surface of the ducts to have a nice smooth finish. Usually only the inner OR outer can be smooth when making carbon parts, but not both at the same time. I thought I would be able to do it using multi piece molds and hand sanding, but it is proving to be too complex.

I think I am going to cut my losses and offer the outside trim in carbon, with the inner duct in durable matte plastic like ASA-CF instead.

Does anyone know the proper process to start a group buy? Do I need get admin or moderator approval?

The smooth surface of plastic is not a bad thing. Sign me up for an early prototype tester. I want to buy one. You come up with a fair price and say when

Possible protool coding solution, though it was on an older car. Will keep digging.

https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1009941

Unplugged the radar, then:
1. Change the FA on CAS, added $544 and removed $541
2. FA_Write on CAS
3. SG_Codieren on KOMBI and DSC

...

All I missed on the first try was coding the LDM as my car is a '05 and has it as a separate module.

Wrote FA on Cas and then did SG_Codieren on Cas, DSC, KOMBI and LDM.
$540 might be a backup option, if available

540 (Cruise Control)
544 (Cruise Control w/ Braking)
If you have 544, you can retrofit to 541 (Active Cruise Control)
It might be possible to use bimmercode instead, for f-series and above. However, their use case was a blocked sensor, not a removed sensor.

ICM -> 3000 DATEN -> C_Umschaltung_ACC_DCC

I think this translates to "toggle acc/dcc". Options are "authorized/supressed".
Additionally, we might be able to turn cruise distance buttons into a speed limiter (for example, cities with speed cameras).

ICM 3000 C_SLD_Funktion aktiv

ICM 3000 LDM_SET_Taste nur_SET__O
