I can attest that the Verus splitter can take a unmovable embedded train track rail to the chin, get ripped off the front of the car in 0.0005 seconds and still be reusable. Thing is a tank.
It was either the Racebred of the Verus HD one in the end for me. AJ Hartman would've probably won out, but at well over $4K shipped for how i'd want it optioned out....nah.

The thing that i liked most about Verus aside from being a great kit overall is....availability. Which means less wait time for a replacement blade as well.

The thing that bothered me a little bit more than it should've is the fact that Verus don't even list the dimensions. The overhang specifically. LIke, why?

The Verus HD splitter sticks out 80mm.
Which is 30mm too far for WTAC Clubsprint rules.

I'm now getting a custom one made that will attach using the Verus mounts and air dam.

80mm? Are you sure? That's about 3.15 inches, which is well below the 5 inch (127mm) street mod limit i need to work with.

Verus themselves have told me that their HD splitter sticks out 5 inches when i messaged them about this. Had the discussion using the chat function on their site, so no receipts unfortunately. Really curious about this now....

Asked the guys at the shop to sign my cooling plate, so instead of signing my OEM one, they signed a carbon fiber one they made. Nice gesture. They're still working on the plate.

Is that Teflon tape on the AN fittings? Its my impression to not use Teflon on those…

Nope, no teflon. I think you're just seeing the shiny machined aluminum collar?

That is 100% teflon tape. A big no-no on AN fittings.

Will check when I head into the shop. Even I know that you shouldn't use Teflon there, and that's saying something...so I'd be surprised if it is.

While you’re at it, have them check the mounting of the duct to the oil cooler. It should be abutted to the cooler with no gap. It looks like they decided to mount the cooler first and then they added the duct when the should have added the duct first.

It was Teflon...

We looked into cutting the rear bumper, but err what do about the EVAP canister?

I guess this is my plan B. Not as effective, but....something. Bonus points for being a lot more subtle

Edit: plan B engaged. Ordered these. Stupid expensive for what they are....

If you need to delete the evap, you will need to code out the readiness checks (if you care about OBD emissions). Cap the engine side, but the tank side needs to vent, otherwise it will build vacuum during sessions, or build pressure when the car sits in the Sun.

I've been looking into 2-way air admittance valves, but have not installed it yet.

Thanks. Your contributions ITT have been extremely helpful.

For now i've pulled the trigger on the more subtle option (i edited the post before this one). Although i do want to revisit this a bit later

I've toyed with the idea of relocating it as well, into the cavernous area that is made once the stock exhaust is removed. Tuck it up tight against the body, and then a diffuser would act like a splash Shield and help protect it
