I am not sure this idea would work, that's why I asked. I know swapping a turbo and downpipe is also a big modification but easily reversible in a matter of couple hours. If I do custom tune and revert back to stock tune, Toyota can still tell there was a tune. With the JB4 removed only way they can tell is if they dig through logs to see boost levels. I may be wrong though.Im not sure if JB4 has the tuning capability to tune for a new turbo.
you say you are worried about warranty but are going to swap turbos, lol. Might as well go with a proper tuning solution if you are going far enough to swap turbos imho.
