Yeah, I was wondering if it still only shows 382 when people have 500+
For tuned cars the tuner typically adjusts the sport display values to better depict where you’re at. Mine reads up to 480 I believe.

I've seen it confirmed on the BMW forums that it will only show stock numbers unless your specific tune changes it.

I was under the impression that the sport displays were just a joke. As far as I'm concerned they are not accurate but are there for fun.

How accurate is the sport display? I’ve hit redbar in 3rd 4th and 5th and it displays 383 hp every time
Not at all. My car is currently making roughly 500whp and close to 540wtq but that damn screen maxes out at what the stock crank figures claim lol. Mine reads 380hp and 368tq. This screen is usually hijacked by certain tuners to show you your Ethanol mixture and whatever else they want you to be able to see.

It's not. It's scaled linearly and computed. Tuners can change the scale, but it's basically a 0-100 scaled and filled. The sport displays are a joke.

They're BEYOND a joke. Downright shameful. Boost gauge anyone?! Oil & coolant temp?!

The tuner can change that. I have a stage 2 E50 Ecutek tune from Visconti, the left gauge now shows boost and the right gauge shows ethanol content.
