Ehh, depends on what you want it for. Tracking and autocrossing, the 2.0 has the better suspension setup and weight. But if you're a numbers guy or lining up for drags and roll racing, the Z should be the better option.

The Hagerty review did an auto Supra vs an auto Z, and an auto Z vs a manual Z. If we're looking at 0-60 and 1/4 mile, I'd expect the manual Supra to fall somewhere in the ballpark of the auto Z.

Track times, I'm also interested to see. I'd be interested to see how they conduct that test to minimize for driver error and fatigue or variance of driver skill, and so many other factors. That being said, the spec sheets suggest the Supra is the better track car.

So much for that gigantic price advantage over the GR Supra lol, 50k for a car built on an outdated platform from over 20 years ago, what a joke. I'm sure they will still sell plenty of them in the US mainly because there is full of blindly loyal fanboys.

They will probably sell a bunch of $40k sport model Zs because that’s their targeted base.
