Do you spend alot of time on the track?
Parts wear more when pushed to their limits
I have been modifying cars for 26 years and have many "Brand name" parts fail on me
If I say I have a verkline front LCA fail on a street car does that make it a bad brand?
Like I said, YMMV
Don't listen to the guys typing on a keyboard
There are 5 people in my circle of car dudes who use various mfg , SPL being one of them

And none of us have had any failures
My front SPL endlinks have been trouble free
I'm not here to defend the brand, no skin in the game
These are just my anecdotal experiences

I once surveyed 31 people who've played Russian roulette. All 31 had survived, therefore, with a 100 percent survival rate, the only conclusion is that Russian roulette is completely safe to play.

Thank you captain obvious for pointing out MY ANECDOTAL experience
You've always been chased by reading comprehension, but like your car you've always been faster

I get the sense that SPL gear is an "it depends" sort of buy.

If you spend all your time on the street, it's a huge upgrade in adjustability/road feel/compliance/handling. It feels REALLY different from stock, and feels great. The alternatives are notably worse in construction (e.g. Megan Racing) for this use case.

But I think we have more than enough reports to suggest that they may not be up to the task of racing. Verkline seems to have proven itself better for this application.

As always: buy for what you're doing.

I really wanted mine to work. Last thing I wanted to do was shell out more coin ? for another brand, believe me. Could be my square tire setup, coilovers, & overall geometry needed to track her properly, that SPL didn’t put enough energy into when making them for our cars. I will say SPL was great about sending me (the shop) replacement bearings & other “upgrades”. Regardless, it was too much down time and money for me. The shop I use is very familiar with SPL parts in the many Porsches (& even a few BMW) clients who race with them. They were surprised as well.

After replacing my rear traction links and front tie rods with the Verkline ones, they told me to just replace the rest when I can. They have nothing to gain from Verkline, nor do I. But it definitely wasn’t working for me or my Supra. It was a relief to hear I wasn’t the only one.

The pics below are a few of mine that failed on track. I also had multiple times we had to replace parts or bearings after making it back home (not pictured). It would no longer hold an alignment consistently. Again, they aren’t having this problem with the other BMWs & Porsches in their shop. But for this Z4/ Supra platform, they definitely could use some more testing at Sebring, just not from me, lol.

I am familiar with Megan and Godspeed from the Genesis Coupe community, which tends to attract entry-level mod budgets. Godspeed is reprehensible quality with a rich history of premature failure and poor QC; absolutely worse than OEM. Megan is serviceable with a fine reputation on the street but very little exposure to racing. I would consider Megan Racing to be "OEM+" -- not a big upgrade but can add adjustability where you need it.

No experience with Torque Solution suspension parts but I've had a food experience with other things I have bought from them.

Edit: those SeemsLegit arms are BEEFY. Got some of those arms as part of a differential package and was impressed with their robustness. Did not use them as i already have SPL out back, but I'm really impressed at first blush.

Torque solutions are just 1:1 copies of SPL and Verus parts.

I hate to ask a question that's already been answered, but:

https://verklineusa.com/products/was-410

Wanted to ask that these have indeed improved road feel through the steering wheel for people? Really noticeable, or does one have to convince themselves a little bit that they feel it to justify what they just bought? I get the how and why it should or could improve the feedback and know that even our supposedly sporty stiff parts are still flexible, but also wonder if there's just so much other rubber in the whole system that these are only a drop in the bucket.

I miss the feedback of hydraulic steering on previous cars. I know EPS can't duplicate it, but if these make a real difference I'll put them on my to-do list. Doubt I'll race my car, but I do enjoy tactile feedback through the steering wheel and would like to gain some.

Yes, the caster arm bushings make a noticeable difference in feel and precision. You don't need to upgrade the whole arm, you can just do the bushings.
