Don’t use Adam Litke for your tuning

Back ground. I have a 2024 bmw m3 xdrive. Have known Adam for years. Extremely nice guy and we talked jb4 tuning for along time
So I decided to have him tune my m3. He said $500 for a flex tune I could only send $100 at time for reasons that don’t matter and he was ok with that.
we went thru 12ish revisions and fixes the boost either oscillated or he blamed it on my unplugged jb4. Told me til I got down pipes that 25psi was best it was gonna get and he would up timing. So after that last revision I took it for a run and it was barely better than stock.
I reloaded the jb4 back end flash and only on map 2 it blew his tune out of the water
I sent him. Message being very nice letting him know it was time to part ways and he got salty with me. Told me he spent hundreds of dollars worth of work. Well I told him I didn’t have one usable file either so I’m the one who’s truly out. He then blocks me.
I have no doubt he’s maybe good in the b58 world but after several high end tuners looked at his file and told me “something doesn’t look right” wgdc d factor and fuel pressure among other things.
everyone of them said if he is still trying to figure it out. Run.
so I was nice and let him down only to be talked to like a pos

Exact reason I went with him. Again he WAS nicest guy but because he couldn’t get my car figured out he became a dick to me
Maybe he should stick to B58

Why are you using the JB4 crap on your car. Get an unlock and a proper tune.

BEF with JB4 isn't super common but possible with MHD.

I'm all for clowning on people when they deserve it... but man...

I really have no reason to argue or defend myself. Car had a unique issue I've never seen after tuning 40+ cars, and Jon lacked the patience to spend more than a week figuring it out, and used as an excuse not to pay after I invested a dozen hours into the car.

Your complaint is poorly written and kinda sus, like sounds like some info is missing.

Also, why you mad about being blocked? You said it was time to part ways, did you want him to chase you and seek a reconciliation?

Ahhhh. I remember you posted a story on IG saying something like No more tune files up front until fully paid? Because you can’t trust people.
