First off, How are you verifying that you’re making 475?

There is no way you are getting 475 with a stock downpipe, what kind of dyno are you using?

If you're referring to the sport gauges.. Heaven help you. Why would anyone pay for dyno time if the car could just tell you?

The sport gauges are just a silly show for your passengers, a gimmick. They basically display a 0-100 value scaled to be at 100 when max torque calculation is reached. Everything is a calculated number.

Also... 475... with just a tune? that's -highly- suspect.

Anyway - the point of a downpipe isn't to bolt-on power, it's to all for your tuner to maximize the amount of power you can output. Adjusting WGDCs, fuel, and timing to provide the maximum amount of power. I'd expect <10 hp for a downpipe without a tune anyway. So even if that were reading correctly (which it's not) I wouldn't expect any real-world changes.

In the turbo world, everything is about increasing boost. If you don't increase boost, you're wasting time.

Whatever you are measuring hp is wrong is how
+1

the only way to measure HP accurately is by dyno

You will need to dyno the car before and after the downpipe install with everything else unchanged

I glossed over this for some reason as well. You're using an OTS tune...?

And - unless you're trying to beat some horsepower record (you're not), HP doesn't matter at all. Your tracktimes do. Weather it's 1/4 mile or preferred road/autox/timeattack lap time. Chasing HP is silly.

There’s should’ve been a big noticeable difference in how the cars drives and feel after the downpipe install. How could you not’ve notice?
