Exciting first post! ok the mystery of the badge is solved! The broker who tracked down the car for me put it on. I told him it caused a bit of chat on this board. For the Vette trolls I owned a C6, C7 and C8. They were all track cars! The C6 and C7 were manuals and the C8 was the dual clutch. Took the C8 to the track 3 times and was totally bored. Could not even put a jacket in the car because it is so tight and the wife hated the wall. Sold it for $20K more than I paid in early 2021. I drove the 993 T on the track and it is a boat. The Caymen GT4 was fun but too many out there as well. A buddy had the Supra automatic and it blows all those cars away, just because you really need to know the car to keep it on the edge. I hope there is no Porsche owners now upset. So the manual Supra just brings it all together. I like the fact it is a very low production car and stands out wherever I go. I only have 800 miles on it so it has not seen 6500 RPM yet! This car seems to draw a lot of attention on freeways with people wanting to play but does not look as gaudy as my old Vette's. The badge stays!!!!!!!

Didn't care for the badge enough to bring it up and don't have whatever you're referring to either.

I just dislike this car in it's stock form and have immense disappointment in it because we can't fully unlock our ECU's and G80 M3's with manuals have that option from the get-go.

The 6MT doesn't need a 6MT badge. The indication is the red SUPRA badge. ?‍?

My Mikan Blast 45th with auto came with a red Supra badge. I guess the port of entry installer thought that was funny. I had the dealership switch it to black.

Why exactly does everyone think the 6mt is so limited? Cause it missed out on 3 production years? It comes in base, premium and a91 edition. Are they really that limited, genuinely curious.

I don’t think they’ve even made 30k world wide yet of any flavor. Obviously there will be less manuals though.

I genuinely wonder if anyone has the real data what the totals of each are currently.

The USA alone has over 23k not including 2024. Worldwide is most definitely over 30k

Even with Canada and Europe only being reported up to 2022, the total for USA, Canada and Europe only is 28,907

This doesn't include other countries like Australia, Japan, etc

You know, the S-FR has been greenlit for production, and may be a new member of the GR family. The real question now, is will it make it to the US?

Haha.. I just don't like automatics.. but I also don't feel the need to advertise what transmission I use to the general public.

And I think you will also agree that it's fucked up how people like to say they drive a Supra MT as opposed to a Supra in their profiles, lol. Although my favourite segregation in this community is when 45th Anniversary owners like to differentiate themselves from regular Supras.. because we're all super jealous of that decal and lame-o wing! I think I changed my profile to say I owned a "44th Anniversary Edition" for a while, but then figured 45th owners might think it was just a typo. ?

I honestly have nothing against other people driving automatics, it's just not for me. Besides, it's fun to talk shit from time time, espcially when we're all adults who can take a joke. ?
