Oil change price

So is there anything different about the oil changes in the supras vs any other high performance vehicles? Just a full synthetic oil change? And how much does that cost for the supra? Thanks

As someone who primarily tracks their Supra. Oil changes are one of the cheapest things i have to budget- thankfully
$80 yourself- $125-225 shops and dealers

$200 seems about fine. I had mine changed when I was getting some unrelated work done. Didn't really check the invoice, unfortunately.

Hmm i called my local dealership where i bought car. And she said $52? I do live in north Carolina. Dunno maybe its cheaper here vs other states?

$52? are they using Dino-Oil for Tercel? that doesn't even cover cost of oil specific to GR Supra. the Oil that need to be used from toyota costs about $100 + $25 Filter, retail. although dealer's cost is cheaper, $52 probably only cover cost of material..

Make sure she's looking at the actual GR Supra oil and not some random 0W-20 they have lying around.

The cheapest possible price I was able to find for 7 quarts of the special stuff and a filter was $80 from a local dealer, same as most other people are saying in this thread.

I was able to pick up 5 qts of Supra oil for only $43 each. So I ordered about 6 of them. The Supra filters are around $10 each. So I ordered like 5 of them. I ordered from an out of state Toyota dealership which I didn’t have to pay tax and they offered free shipping over $75. I came out with 3 years of Oem Supra oil stuff for under $300. Lol

That confirms $52 will cover just about material only if right oil/filter was used..

I paid $150 at a central Texas dealership after getting a ridiculously high quote from another local dealer.

Service writer said it was the first Supra oil change paid for by one of their customers and he commented he didn’t realize it was so high vs the $85 they charge for other Toyotas.

Maybe they didn’t actually check the rate in the system? My dealer initially quoted me $85 before looking it up.

About $60 in parts (Castrol Edge full synthetic 0W20) and 20 minutes of my time. This is the easiest car ever for an oil change. And yes, the Castrol meets all of the requirements.

I'm currently on 5W40 Red Line oil since I had a few boxes of these on the shelf. I couldn't wait to change out my 0W20 after my break-in period for something with more viscosity.

I just got enough oil and filters to do 2 oil changes. Three 5 qt jugs (Pennzoil Euro 5w-30) and 2 filters cost me about $110.
