I'll answer my own question. Finally got the car on Saturday. Took the side decal off when I got home. Was very easy to remove. Heated the edge up a little bit and then it just pulled right off with steady pressure. No residue or anything.

Not a Corvette.
My son has a Falcon XR6 with a Barra engine. BMW copied it to create the B58. Very hush, hush business, don't mention it to anyone else.
I'm pretty sure BMW didn't copy a 20+ year old iron block PI engine that has been dead for almost 10 years now.

If Toyota/BMW made it that easy to remove maybe they weren't actually convinced about the look of it themselves, lol. An optional side stripe.

I'll chime in as another weirdo who likes the 45th Anniversary wang. I prefer modest and tastefully understated wang vs big, showy wang.

Anyways, has anyone managed to mount one of these to a non-45th? I figure it might be possible to get one of these for cheap (possibly free, lol) if anyone starts selling a bigger one that matches the mount points and people start replacing them.

I think I saw in another thread a while back that the way they are bolted on was not easily accessible even with pulling apart the trunk trim?

Seriously though I'm amazed by the aftermarket industry in the US. If you can dream up a car project to do then guaranteed someone there will make the stuff to do it.

Phil, that's because we force them to do it at gunpoint. It's a thing citizens of a country that 'lost a war' with oversized flightless birds wouldn't understand.
