Yikes. You're wanting to polish a turd wing?
Yikes.

You’ve had such a hot boner for me ever since you posted your huge wing with a huge spoiler under it and I didn’t like it. Yikes.

I love you too. Yikes.

Yikes,

Yikes.

I don’t get the hate of the stock 45th spoiler, I personally think it’s the best looking spoiler of all MK5 spoiler. Has a very aggressiv/mature look without the over the top or rice look.
Some people forget a thing called preference

I prefer the subtle wings or extended duck bills, I’m personally not a fan of the aggressive track wings unless they’re on a track car, but to each their own

I wouldn't call it a hot boner, but whatever helps you sleep at night. I just considered you a trend setter. You're like Gretchen Weiners with trying to make "Fetch" happen. Yikes won't happen.

I think a lot of the hate is because of the wishful dreaming for a targa top or GRMN version. I would hate on it because it's essentially a +$5k spoiler.

You can always go full custom with APR. they will build you whatever you can think of. I asked them about it and they quoted around $2800 for custom wing

Here’s a suggestion that I always throw out to people who want the look of carbon fiber. Cover your 45th anniversary wing in STEK dynocarbon gloss. Literally looks like real carbon fiber. It’s what I used on my car and it blows people away. They’re always amazed to learn it’s PPF and not real CF.
Your PPF shop or an authorized installer in your area should be able to do your wing in Dynocarbon for a couple hundred dollars.

Woooooow!! This looks amazing!!

I really wanted to get the CF rear diffuser from Seibon but for 1k I didn't think I wanted it any more lol
By any chance what were you quoted for them to install this?

I personally bought it for the color.

I could understand the rationale for the limited paint color and if someone really loved the spoiler, but I think Toyota really took advantage of the Absolute Zero White buyers with the 45th edition. The dealer I have my deposit at says white has been the most requested color for the Supra and my guess is that they've sold over 150 Supras to date.

Here in Australia the 45th anniversary orange is a std colour no extra charge and no tacky side decals.

Yes we are the lucky country
I don’t know if I would say Australia is the lucky country when it comes to the car enthusiast market…..gas prices alone….

This.
We just need to have someone scan the factory legs on the 45th Anniversary and just make them taller.

It would be a super simple solution. OEM+ Mods would probably be the best company in our small aftermarket to task with this.
This. This is what I’ve been talking about since I saw the 45th!

It was like $1,800 for all the dynocarbon pieces:

front splitter
Side skirts
Rear diffuser
Duckbill spoiler
Mirror caps
Roof
Roof rails

I’m super happy with it. To do all of that in actual carbon fiber, with labor for install, especially the roof which is suuuuuper spendy, it would’ve come close to $10k. I get the look I want, with none of the maintenance of actual Carbon fiber, the matching of a full carbon set instead of a mish mash of weaves from different companies, and the added protection, self healing properties and hydrophobicity of PPF for a fraction of the price. The only things I don’t get are the weight savings of real CF (but let’s be real, how much weight would I actually be saving) and the ability to tell people it’s real CF which I don’t care about. It’s a street car at the end of the day. 10/10 would do again.

Yes but with one caveat, make that 2. California and snow. California the nanny state for emissions and basically we don't have snow here unless you are mad enough go searching for it.
Seriously though I'm amazed by the aftermarket industry in the US. If you can dream up a car project to do then guaranteed someone there will make the stuff to do it.
