Agreed, did the same mod on my car. I'm no longer embarrassed when I hit the horn.

I've only had my car a few weeks and I'm typically not shy about using my horn (lot of bad drivers around here). I used it the second day I had the car when someone cut me off and my wife and I both looked at each other in disbelief after hearing it for the first time. I haven't used it since.

Yep, just parallel hook up, no relay.
