What part do you want to cut?It was Teflon...
We looked into cutting the rear bumper, but err what do about the EVAP canister?

I assume he wants to cut this and then build a tire wall against the diffuser, similar to what Jackie ding did to relieve tire wake. What part do you want to cut?
Mine is cut for a diffuser and I still have the canister?
I haven't no, but now i will. Not really an area i know too much about. Also, the plan wasn't to powder coat but to paint. Reason being is that these are new calipers, and i don't want to disassemble them at this point, which i'd have to. Paint is less durable, but it much easier to touch up, and doesn't need caliper disassembly. That's been my thought process, and then to look into power coating once i need to service the calipers.Have you looked at doing nickel plating instead? Powder coat turns to ass when you’re braking as hard as you should on track.

Did you have any codes when it stopped making boost? It's a little frustrating seeing you have all these issues, then just guess at things. Then you have a bunch of people with experience giving you input and it seems to always just turn into an argument.I can play that game too.....my pure turbo exploded so i bought a different brand turbo. On a serious note though, i don't think it's the turbo's fault. I mean it could be, but it's one of 2 things:
1- defective turbo
2- tune related.
Either way i didn't specifically choose DAW. I'm just not willing to wait another 8 weeks to get my hands on another pure800. The new gen2s have been fine. I need something to carry me through this season. The only other turbo i could've sourced is a pure900, and yeah nah. Anyway, i'm going to eat my words if DAW somehow decide to take their sweet ass time to ship it over to me.
Anyway, at least i finally found out to how to log. Now i just need to wait for the turbo and find a new tuner and get back out there ASAP.
Not sure if you're referencing something specific with with that argument comment or in general? But in case it's something about me, as far as I'm concerned I genuinely appreciate the input I get. I don't see myself arguing with anyone on that front. I might debate, but there's no harm in that. That's how many people, myself included, learn.Did you have any codes when it stopped making boost? I do hope you have good luck with moving to a DAW turbo. Hopefully you never have to get support from the owner, because he is a piece of work for sure. He also just changed the name of his company to German Forced Induction.
