Does anyone know who makes the Toyota Supra oil (OW-20 SN C5)?

Do you know where I can buy it from? (I am in Europe).

What motor do you have? Assume its the 3.0..........get BMW oil. Its a BMW engine. If you are in Europe there is good oil to choose for it. Im in Germany. See your owners manual. 0W-30 in a good/current BMW spec will be fine.

it's probably an oil made specifically for north US/canadian customers. i believe it's made by exxonmobil.

if you want gr supra certified toyota oil, then you should visit your local toyota dealership instead.

BMW long life 17 fuel economy aka LL17FE is the oil rating you are looking for. I would say that LL01 and LL04 BMW oil specifications are probably more ideal than the 17FE but some people want better fuel economy and more engine wear.

Do we really need to create a whole new oil thread every couple weeks?
Absolutely. Itā€™s incredibly important. Need a new thread at least once per week. Itā€™s like a forum PSA letting everyone know their engines will self destruct if they donā€™t use the ā€œspecialā€ oil. And how else will we know our engines will blow up if we donā€™t immediately stop using the 0W20 water oil.

God it's a grade behind the world. SP is the latest grade specifically upgraded for for DI engines. Why the hell would you use a Toyota branded oil. It's just corporate "hand in your pocket" stuff. Someone else makes it and Toyota charge you for the honour of getting sucked into their branding exercise.
Don't mention warranty concerns it irrelevant.

Thank you for entertaining my thoughts on which oil to pick :)

My Supra is A90, Stage 2. I decided I will go for 0W-30 and below are the candidates:

- Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30
- Motul 8100 X-max 0W-30
- Castrol EDGE 0W-30 A3/B4

I am also planning to run the maintenance myself as I do not really trust the local dealership :stirthepot:

I bought some of this the other day just to have some top up oil if needed..

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B083SRXBX4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I picked this as it met all the relevant standards for the car/engine.

Oil used to be such a simple affair, now there seems to be 10 million different standards etcā€¦

Iā€™m sure all this oil comes out of one company where they just add the 10 million labels to the same stuff! šŸ˜‚
