New guy here and ready to purchase.

Great thread with good solid info...

I’m currently rolling a 370Z Roadster but am tired of the ‘vert and a new red Supra is getting into my head

Picked mine up today. 2021 3.0 Premium with carbon fiber mirror covers and driver assist package, 3/20 build date. It had been sitting on the lot long enough that they gave me a good deal on my trade (built ‘05 STi) and knocked 6k off the sticker price. Out the door for 55k, 40k with the trade.

Pic below with my old STi in the background.

Just picked up a 2021 3.0 Premium for $55,500 OTD (including 6% sales tax). Sticker was $57,200. Includes Toyota $1,500 rebate.

Final prices seem higher now than when I bought in December. Wonder if demand is increasing? CarMax in Kenosha still has a NEW ‘21 Black Premium 3.0 that was pretty well priced when I checked. Drive that sucker home and get the break-in period done right away.

Of course. Winter is over. December and end of production year are the best times to buy sports cars. Dealers can't move them in the winter months, and at the end of the production year they're pushing to make room for the new model. Early spring is when everyone goes looking, so prices go up.

I thought $7400 off was pretty good, they were giving more off than that last year?

I’d say that’s quite good, but maybe $1000 or so off what I was seeing in December. Not sure what TT&L was and I’m not doing math this late in the day :)

Anyway, certainly a respectable price. I’m guessing you worked them well.

$651 a month, 8k down. I think final price was in the $56k range
Did they actually break this out for you. Based off the current residual and MF, they sold this to you for around 55.4k. There are piles of these cars online for 51k. You're payment should be more like 500-520 with what you put down. If you haven't signed anything yet then stop.

He's in California. Thats the best deal he's going to get. Most CA dealerships are doing leases at over 1k a month with 3k down. Its the MF that most CA dealerships are using thats killing any real point of leasing. Its why a lot of us ended up buying because its actually more expensive to lease. I could sell my car in 3 years and would have paid less than had i done a lease.
