Hi guys!

Just bought my '21 3.0 Premium and the guy selling the car to me told me that he believes Toyota offers a free day of racing instruction.

Searching around the 'net and other forums - this doesn't seem to be true.

Did anyone else hear about this?

If I could just use a Toyota manufacture car Iā€™d be all in ... (Iā€™d gladly cover the necessary insurance)... and would love the added seat time.

However... Iā€™m not into the track wear and tear on my personal Supra (possible cupped and feathered tires, brakes, chips, track debris).

Just me.

That was my thought too. I also added crashing the car into my worst case scenario. OP I received a letter and pamphlet that explained all the information. Watch your mailbox in about 3-4 weeks.

The program was extended to 2021 but I have not yet heard about 2022. Everyone who came to trackday, they loved it. I've seen participants from 20's to 80's in their age. I also have seen some going 130~140 mph in straight as well as 60 mph. There are big gap but it is kept very safe and controlled environment /w instructor guiding you as well as class in between each session.

Is anyone going to be at the May 1st and 2nd event at the Gateway Worldwide Technology Racetrack in Madison, Illinois? Iā€™ll be doing the event on Sunday the 2nd only.

Def encourage it. If you have never tracked before, this group does a great job of introducing it to you in a pretty safe manner (lead follow with instructors). If you have experience, you can and should bump to group 2 or 3.

I would also add...to people who have never been out on track and are worried about wear n tear you really don't have much to worry about...
As a beginner it's more about the experience...learning the car and yourself as a driver...
Pace is relatively slow for beginner drivers...

I just completed my FREE nasa day...nasa offers 1/2 off the second day which I took advantage of...they originally placed me in group 1 (beginner group) after 2 session I was bumped to group 4...
I had never ran with nasa but have been tracking for 10yrs....but definitely understand it's all about safety...

Anyone know if they'll allow you to participate if your vehicle is modified? If not I'll just take it to the track on my own time.
