yep......^ It's not up for debate -never was- and yet you guys keep bringing it up again and again.
Cool! Enjoy the ZF8 in your Supra. You already have everything you want in this car already (maybe with the exception of an S58 engine?).I hope there will never be a manual Supra ever. Autos are the way to go now!! I been spoiled by the zf……. ?

If Toyota does end up selling a manual Supra though no one will force you to buy one over an automatic edition.
And you keep waiting for the fairytale manual for the Supra…. LolCool! Enjoy the ZF8 in your Supra. You already have everything you want in this car already (maybe with the exception of an S58 engine?).

lol. I’m just not interested in one of this generation unless it’s offered. If it isn’t ever offered by the end of MKV production then fine. And you keep waiting for the fairytale manual for the Supra…. Lol
The guy is toxic, leave them alone. It ain't worth it.lol. I’m just not interested in one of this generation unless it’s offered. If it isn’t ever offered by the end of MKV production then fine.
I fail to understand how my own interest in Toyota offering a manual transmission option for this sportscar harms your enjoyment of your own Supra MKV in any way.
I’m not attacking you for enjoying the ZF8 transmission.
Yeah, that's for sure. It's definitely not worth it. As if he thinks he's going to influence what I feel like buying. As I said, I'm not at all dogging on the ZF8 or anyone's enjoyment of it. It's a great transmission. I'm just not interested in it, myself. The guy is toxic, leave them alone. It ain't worth it.
^^ You've really hit the nail on the head with that. I don't understand the attitude either from a car culture standpoint. I like all kinds of cars new and old using many kinds of drivetrain designs. There is no one "right" car.I'll totally buy another one if it is released with a manual option... but as the poll is "Only interested..." I already answered NO by purchasing one as soon as it was available.
It's more than a little distressing the trend in current culture (in this case car culture - but it applies broadly as well) to return to a "one-size-fits-all" attitude. Not sure if it's a byproduct of social media, social programming, regulation bloat, or whatever... but I fear we're about to revisit our automotive origins of "you can have any color as long as it's black" soon.
Kinda weird at a time when "diversity" and "inclusion" are the buzzwords du jour - how everyone seems to even more readily condemn anyone that wants to follow a slightly different path to the same destination.

100% this! The Supra is my first auto sports car and it’s a very good one despite my initial apprehension. But options are good! I’d like to see both offered but don’t have high hopes. I’ll add another manual car to the garage at some point, but not because it’s better or worse, but 3 pedals offers a different engagement/driving experience that is enjoyable in its own, irreplaceable fashion.I'll totally buy another one if it is released with a manual option... but as the poll is "Only interested..." I already answered NO by purchasing one as soon as it was available.

That final jab resonated with me deeply. Love it.I'll totally buy another one if it is released with a manual option... but as the poll is "Only interested..." I already answered NO by purchasing one as soon as it was available.

I used to think the same thing and even had a couple of "back and forth" with him but at the end of the day, he duped me and I fell for it......now it's just a good laugh....LOLThe guy is toxic, leave them alone. It ain't worth it.
