Like a ghost I'll believe it when I see it.

Why do rumors of a manual Supra always sound like doomsday prophecies? Someone predicts a date, everyone freaks out, the day comes to pass, and nothing happens. Wash rinse and repeat. Please let me be wrong!

This, its like no one on this forum can believe it. Coming out right around the time of the new Z. Coincidence ? I guess there's going to be a lot of shocked people here.

The ZF8 AT is good, no contest. Very good actually. Better lap times and can handle additional power/torque for tuning. But it doesn’t negate a 6-speed dial on the cards ;)

I wonder if the statement “save the best for last” holds true for the Supra

I've already had a 2021 Supra, currently have a 2022 Supra... do I dare get a 2023 manual Supra? :D
With the war related shutdowns, shortages, etc. and the current macroeconomic trends in place - a better question might be will there be a 2023 Supra (manual or otherwise)? I guess the second question would be how much MSRP will increase to keep pace with inflation... $80K anyone?

As someone who was always just "a little bit short" in the early 90's - lusting after the new Z32, MKIV, and FD RX7 releases... I'm feeling a bit of deja vu these days. Luckily I'm in a much better place financially now than I was in my early 20s - but I still remember the feels. :(

The way things are going right now they may as well introduce a new Ltd edition 800bhp lightened targa top.
Makes no difference if they don’t have the resource to actually build any.
All this hype on new cars for 2022 whether it’s the Z the Emira, the new type R, nobody has what they need to actually produce and sell these cars!!

As always, link to the press release on toyota.com. Until then, it's not official.

I don’t care if Toyota releases a manual. However if they release an entire different engine with more power then I’m going to be pissed
