Oh nice. Didn't know Whifbitz made a hybrid. Do we have any details on it? All I see is the Pure800 and OEM turbo offered on their website.
I'm running the development turbo, so should be available to purchase soon I think.
It's really transformed the car TBH. (I've not driven a pure800, so can't compare directly if the experience is similar or not)

I'd consider the Remnant turbo before the DAW. From what I've seen in their thread the spool is practically identical to stock and you can still push up to 800WHP if you ever wanted to.

I'm not sure which one is better between the Omega or DAW. I've seen videos of guys on YouTube with DAW turbos pushing really good power and no complaints. AK4wheels is a channel on youtube I follow who has a silver 2022 MKV Supra with DAW out in Illinois gapping all kinds of cars on the street having fun. Has one been around longer than the other?

Maybe next week some more details on it. Will see. Whifbitz seem to know their stuff pretty well when it comes to A90 so far, I'd consider their turbo offering for sure.

I believe that peak power is very similar on both at the moment but the spool on the Omega is considerably quicker. Remnant is also going to release a higher flowing revised turbine housing which should make it outperform the DAW on both ends of the powerband. Actual impact on the spool after the revised housing is TBD but considering how it is now even a few 100 RPMs in difference would still keep it spooling surprisingly quick for how much it can flow on the top end.

*edit* I'm not sure which has been out longer since Remnant has been making these turbos for a while just not a stock location kit for the B58 like they offer now. Haven't really looked at how long DAW has had their option in the market to know for sure.

Not so sure about peak power.

Ive seen the remnant turbo do 890whp at 35psi.

I haven’t seen anything DAW come within 150whp of that number..

Damn... I was going off of rating. didn't know actual numbers were that different. Guess it just makes the Omega that more worth it.

I’ve been lurking here for a while and reading up on tuning. I have a MT and really want to have 2 DMEs (keeping 1 of them bone stock for back up, smog , if DME is lost/bricked).
I know that the MT DMEs are different and cant be cloned to <6/2020 unlock-able DMEs.

HOWEVER, I was thinking: What if I purchase a brand new DME from Toyota, one that is the right kind for the MT and have it programmed to my car/vin. And send the other DME to Femto for the partial unlock/bm3. Has anyone tried this?

No reason why you can't do that, it will be a fiarly expensive exercise though I'd imagine.
