The idea that the 45th anniversary edition is in any way special enough to have a long term second hand price delineation from a regular model of the same year is very very wishful thinking. Having said this, since the wing and the decal are literally the only evidence you paid extra, I think removing them is goofy. ?Way back in 1963, the C2 Corvettes came from the factory with a split rear window. In 1964, that partition was eliminated. Many 1963 owners had their windows replaced to look like the 64-67 model years. The "split" windows never returned. However, the small block split window coupe's value rose much faster than the 64 and newer cars values.
My opinion about the Supra graphics is that they instantly set the car apart from all non-45th anniversary Supras. When a BMW shop owner saw my car for the first time, he said the black graphics really goes well with the other black components. Of course, as they say, "To each his (or her) own"
I'm keeping the graphics!![]()
