got it. the main thing is using the OEM spring and the proper spring perch to be at factory height. i can't remember the details but i believe MCS didn't bother to make a 100% B Street legal shock, so a B Street member had to build his own spring perch or something. Unlikely to matter unless you're at the pointy end of the results.I'll upload some pics when I get home. Yes they're Tolleson's MCS he was selling so I should be able to get them fully legal but I don't care too much about being nationally legal, just close enough that my local competitors won't care but I reap the benefit of better suspension for the track.
there's also the legality of the bump stop on the MCS shocks. you're not supposed to engage those before the OEM shocks.
if you dont want to be locked to Street Class, there's Xtreme Street (XS) that allows more freedom to mod. but at that point, you may want to look for a shock re-valve as those are catered to the OEM spring rates.
