Yes looking forward to standard MY20 VS MY21 back to back on a Dyno, same Dyno, same hour of the same day :)
Yeah hopefully the dyno will have exact ambient temps, barometric pressure and corrected DA on the same day, same dyno at the exact second with a competent operator who made sure to calibrate the dyno before the test. (rolls eyes) You're a smart ass.

Toyota claimed 335hp on the MY20 but various dyno charts showed consistent 340whp which is 384 crank hp considering a 13% drivetrain loss. Car forums....Jesus H fucking Christ.

Way to make that go from 0 to 100. I dont think his reply was being a smart ass or sarcastic. In an ideal situation best comparision would be to test both MY20 and MY21 on the same conditions then people can't argue about having different conditions. Not every comment is an attack at your comment.

You have some issues. Everytime someone comments you think they are being a smart ass. Get your head out of your ass.

Please provide a dyno chart. Thanks! ;)
No need to be a smart ass.

There are mechanical differences, even Toyota said there was in their press release. The Z4 M40i dyno has been posted here numerous times and makes more power than the 2020 Supra’s because of these differences.

It does have more power, it has the B58D instead of B58C.
^this...

And if you want a dyno to show, someone has already done this with a back to back on a '20 A90 Supra vs a '20 Z4 where the Z4 has the same engine that the new '21 A91 Supra will have...

"on a Dyno, same Dyno, same hour of the same day"

Anyone who has operated a dyno or been around one when a vehicle was loaded and ran knows it can take 30-60 minutes just to load and secure a vehicle as well as preliminary runs to ensure calibration is correct. "Same hour of the same day" was a derisive comment. Refrain from name calling, it's not necessary and makes you look vacuous here.

Im not sure what youre trying to prove. Dyno sheets don't prove hardware differences.

What are your thoughts on the above dyno chart contradicting your entire argument and resultant lashing out at "smart asses" on Jesus H Fucking Christ car forums?

I think this dyno chart is flawed LOL.

That's odd the A90 MKV beat the Z4 M40i. The Z4 M40i has a B58 with a claimed 382 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque yet the A90 has a B58 with a claimed 335 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. The Z4 M40i weighs 3,457 lbs. and the A90 MKV weighs 3,397 lbs.. The Supra has a 60 lb. weight advantage yet the Z4 M40i on paper allegedly has 47 more hp. Theoretically, this should have been an even race considering the trade off for weight Vs additional power in these cars. However, what we see here is the Z4 getting beat by the Supra by a half a second. It's quite easy to tell that the Supra isn't making 335hp if it beat the Z4 with an alleged 382hp, and despite the torque numbers being nearly identical the Z4 should have made up for it on top end with the alleged higher HP figures.

Anyone who's been on these boards already knows that the A90 MKV are not making 335hp as many dyno charts shared online since last October 2019 show the majority are making 340whp on average which places the B58M30I motor at around 380+ crank HP. So, how is it that the SAME motor that's in the Z4 M40i that's going in the A91 going to be making more power again if it's still rated at 382hp in the A91 as well? LMAO

You're right. So how does a 335hp car beat a 382hp car with only a 60lb weight advantage by a half second?
See my video comparison I just posted above.

@Z8AKU

You can't disprove this. You can't argue this. To say that the 2021 Supra doesn't have the B58D would be saying that Toyota is straight up lying.

https://pressroom.toyota.com/toyota...wer-and-first-ever-four-cylinder-turbo-model/
The increased output results from a slew of upgrades throughout the engine. The new dual-branch exhaust manifold, with six ports (aka B58D aka 382hp variant) instead of two (aka B58C), improves heat management. A new piston design reduces the engine’s compression ratio from 11:1 to 10.2:1.

That Z4 is Euro spec with the B58C aka the same motor as the 2020 Supra. Anyone who's been on these boards already knows that.
