I superimposed the two curves.

Car and Driver's graphs have different x axis ranges for the 2020 vs. 2021, and it looks like you didn't correct for that in your overlay. I noticed because I made the same mistake on my first attempt to merge the two graphs. After correcting, here's what I got (posted earlier upthread):

The improvement in horsepower shows up before 5,000 rpm, but, yeah, it's not huge until you get up near that range.

Which is a good thing. Means there's no additional turbo lag "some" car reviewers said there would be because of the lower compression. So it drives the same as the '20 it just pulls slightly harder.

Technically there is a slight lag added, but it only added ~100-200 rpm....and when you are hitting full boost at 2500 rpm it still is gonna feel like zero lag. Very worth it for the improved top end.

“a lot” harder from that run on you-tube. The 2021 walked it. Lol

thx for posting!

"In this video, we put upgraded 2020 and 2021 GR Supras head-to-head! Both are equipped with our Stage-3 package, both calibrated by Vlad via EcuTek, both tested on the same dyno, and both completed just days apart with similar conditions. It's the ultimate 2-port versus 6-port engine comparison!"
