The Supra is here. Everyone around around here is doing markups. I wanted Stratosphere blue. But after dealing with 2 dealerships in my area with marking them up as much as the Final Edition, I decided to get this money grabbing version of the car. Whatever.

Garage is a work in progress since we moved here not too long ago.

Kind of feels like seeing an old friend again.

Thanks. That's the plan. I'll be doing polished parts, nickel coated, and black PVD chrome throughout the build I've already got my black PVD wheels.

I've got a Forge Heat exchanger as well. I need to grab some more cooling tib-bits before I pull the front bumper and drain it... because that's a bitch... at least for me it is.

Nice!!!!! Is it a 2026 Premium or Base? Automatic or stick? (sorry if I missed it earlier)

Can’t wait to watch this one evolve while you make the next ultimate Supra again. Did you notice any differences from your last one? Before you started modding it (that you can remember)?

Unfortunately, It's a manual Final Edition?. I wanted a Stratosphere Blue Premium, but they were being marked up to the same price as a Final Edition. I reserved the Final Edition back in April 2023 through my old dealership. After finding out how horrible the US version of the car would be I decided to have that dealership try to get a blue allocation, but they ended up only getting a red 2026 and a Black Final Edition.

Since I bought my first Supra and 7 other cars from there, they reached out to me with a killer deal and I said sure. I can not escape the color black for my sports cars :(.

I've already got a roadmap for my build and a spreadsheet of everything I have in mind. The focus is going to be on performance, handling, hardening. Only major problem is this transmission. Really hoping Grannas is still moving forward with there T56 Supra kit. It's been several months without updates.

I live in a new area too, so now I've got to make new connections and figure out where I can get additional help for things outside of the scope that I feel comfortable doing. Unfortunately I live in western North Carolina in the mountains near Asheville, and there aren't any performance shops around here. The most notable and "closest" ones are in Charlotte and Atlanta, Ga.

With all that said, at least this car does come with upgraded suspension and stiffening bits and it feels amazing compared to my stock 2021 Supra. I also don't feel like the car is going to send me to my maker when I hit a dip or bump in the road like last time. I think that was resolved in later model years, but it's still nice. I'm going to get the car up on the lift so I can see what the new brace looks like. They still put the coat hanging rods for the strut brace. ?

Also I've never used Rev matching, even in my GR Corolla Circuit. This has it on by default. Since I have never used it in my life, it really fuck with my head when I first started using it. After trying it for a bit it's really awesome and I will be using it when in normal mode, but I really feel like it defeats the purpose of getting a manual car if you're using it all the time since it basically shifts for you.

Brace, same as standard editions, just different material. This is actually an EU FE. Curious if US versions even have it.

That looks way thicker than what I had on my last car. I'll check it out this weekend. Yeah there is definitely no reason to replace that if it's the same brace.

Overall I feel like the US Final Edition should have been priced at around $64K/$65K before options. Most of the suspension upgrades will be wasted on this build. So really premium or base is the way to go as usual if you're highly modifying the car.

The matte colors will be out in the fall, and I could see them priced a little higher. But fuck matte paint. Never again. Learned my lesson the hard way. Just get full matte ppf.

When do you plan on mounting the wheels, they look great!

Not sure. I'm going to do a test fit maybe this weekend when I put the car up on my quick jack. I'm going to nab suspension components before putting the wheels on. I don't even know what coil overs I'm going to get.

I also need to grab tires. I'm thinking the Hoosier Track Attack Pros:
265/35
315/30

Really focusing on performance and handling first before doing anything cosmetic or aural... I may get MST intake just to hear the car more while I accrue my parts.

I've got so much shit to get... And the transmission is the thing I'm worried about the most.

Right now I'm just going to enjoy the car the way it is right now for the most part until it gets broken in.

I'd be interested in hearing what you think of the Hoosiers in the future, since I'm considering those as well for next year's summer set.

Hoosiers are great track tire but need some heat to grip on the street. Not ideal for cold nights or end of season imo. Basically pucks until theyre hot

Nevermind: Bracing system the same as Z4

_____________________________________________

@Meraki Autoworks it looks like the Remark exhaust system will fit around and under the new bracing. Definitely limits options for exhausts. I also see that there are new stock mounted turbo options out there. Since I'll be going that route I'll nab a new intake system for now. I've seen MST has a new release. Wondered what you have that is great quality that I might not know about.

I've also reached out to Grannas to see if there are still plans to release their T56 kit for the Supra. They already have them for the BMWs with the B58. If they cancelled it I'll probably go with PTB's full clutch system. That's probably something I'll have to source directly from them.
