lol, that’s the Z4 bracing. It’s been pointed out like 100x so far ?

Everyone thinks they are discovering it for the first time ?

Unfortunately the diff cover is downgraded with smaller/less cooling fins because of clearance with the brace. For street use, shouldn’t matter.

Here is the initial list of parts I put together after discussing some things with CES. As with the last build I plan to do multiple maps ranging from ~450whp to ~900whp
  • do88 MERA Intake Manifold
  • do88 Aux Cooler (passenger side only)
  • Forge Heat Exchanger (on hand)
  • Verus Oil Cooler

  • CES x EOS Bottom Mount Xona Turbo Kit (XRE6564 maybe? Not sure yet)
  • KLM Catch Can or Dual Radium Catch Can

  • PRW Stand Alone Auxiliary Fuel System
  • Injector Dynamics 1050x
  • Motiv Reflex
  • MHD+

  • PTB Clutch Sinter/Sinter + DMF
  • DSS Axle
  • DSS Driveshaft

  • Nitron Elec-Tron R3 System Coilover
  • CPM Lower Brace
  • TRD Damper Strut Brace Set
  • CMS Roll Bar

AP Racing Brakes? - Waiting to hear back on what's going on with the rear brake set up that comes with the electronic brake.

Also debating between SPL and Verkline suspension pieces. Will probably go with SPL.

I'll be putting that hotboi stuff on it later.

Are those kits out already? Been waiting forever on that manifold, Feels like Rev2 is going to release before this kit. Although I'm hoping they Give a twin scroll collector for a Borg8474.

Is that Xona the millimeter-millimeter number or the lbs/min flow? I remember them changing back to MM2MM somewhere down the line.

Your mom is my ride
  • Nitron Elec-Tron R1 System Coilover

Just learned about these. Seems they work with the OEM EDC and they convert the rear to a true coilover setup? Am I correct on this?

They are prepping for release. They had one installed on their shop car that was posted in their story on Instagram on Friday. But it probably dropped off by now. They are waiting for more manifolds.

Also the Xona numbers are now associated with compressor wheel and turbine outlet sizes.

Thanks. This is going to be a slower burn since some of the parts I want are significantly more expensive but it'll get there.

With that said... I had to get me a new steering wheel after seeing @DarkZupra's setup. I thought I could live with the stock steering wheel this time, but it still doesn't feel right in my gorilla hands. So I had a discussion with @NitroYellowMKV to nail down what I was looking for. Very nice guy and recommend him if you're looking for a customized wheel.

Also got a status update from Essex on the AP Racing rear brakes with the EPB. It's almost ready to go. I think they said it would be ready this month or next.

For those that don't know, this will have the EPB separate from the caliper:

Hell yeah, you will love it.

Im also interested in the AP setup with the parking brake under the regular one. I think thats a better setup than what Signature Werks did and Im trying to find a local machine shop to make me a bracket for my SW setup so I can run them like this.

I didn't even know about this. Thanks for bringing Signature Werks up. This seems like a killer deal. Are you having any issues with the parking brake or you just want it separate from the rear calipers? How are you liking them compared to stock?

AP Racing brakes before taxes and shipping is like $12,000+... So probably around $13K. If I can get some genuine Brembos, I'd be happy with that. I'm going to send them a e-mail right now.

They are a killer deal, thats the primary win.

Positives:
- Price
- Fronts are simple and fit great
- Decent pad availability, once you find the right type
- Full sized rear caliper with an EPB

Negatives
- Rear fitment can be a pain. The bracket I got put the main caliper in front, and the EPB caliper 180 degrees opposite at the back. The issue I have is that the EPB motor and the KW DSS shock plug make contact under full compresion. SW has a new bracket that flips them supposedly.
- No instructions
- Terrible communication, meaning very little help from them if you run into issues. Ive emailed them 3 times to get the updated rear bracket and heard nothing.

I also had an issue during install where I somehow got air into the ABS cylinder, which required ISTA to cycle during bleeding. That was a pain and caused some pedal softness until I fixed it. The included pads suck balls, dont bother with them.

Overall Im happy with them, they look amazing, and perform great the few times Ive tracked them. Heres a pic of the rear (drivers side) so you can see the bracket system.

Not sure. I'm going to do a test fit maybe this weekend when I put the car up on my quick jack. I'm going to nab suspension components before putting the wheels on. I don't even know what coil overs I'm going to get.

I also need to grab tires. I'm thinking the Hoosier Track Attack Pros:
265/35
315/30

Really focusing on performance and handling first before doing anything cosmetic or aural... I may get MST intake just to hear the car more while I accrue my parts.

I've got so much shit to get... And the transmission is the thing I'm worried about the most.

Right now I'm just going to enjoy the car the way it is right now for the most part until it gets broken in.
What’s the concern with the transmission? I bought the exact same car

Damn. That right there almost kills it for me. It does look good though.

Were they quick to respond to you during the purchase process and just ghosted you after you got the brakes?

If you plan on staying with 19’s, you could also swap the M calipers/rotors on F/R
