The front end of the Z looks like a cardboard box design.

I got the Supra because I always wanted a 240Z and it is, to me, like a fully updated and modernized 240z. The current Z really looks, IMO, Terrible. They look like they saw the Supra and thought, hey, we can make that boxy and better. Nope, too bad, I enjoy seeing nice looking sports cars and the Z isn't one of them.

Funny you say that. This is at work and I always thought these two were remarkably similar for being 50yrs apart:

Exactly!

And the reason I had to get the Supra. And I enjoy sports cars and the turbo is so smooth on the Surpa that it is a joy. A modernized 240Z. Toyota got it, Datsun missed. :^)

I’m sure you guys are aware of how the 240z and 2000gt went down lol
Yes! However, to me, (with the exception of the greenhouse) the mk5 still slightly favors the 240 more than its own great gran pappy

The New Z is a bit dull. It's trying to capture the mediocre stylings of the 80-90s. The Supra looks like it has more in common with 60-70's JDMs like 2000GT and ironically the 240Z.

10k more and still a second behind

Something not right w m2 lap? Should be faster
In the article for this year they talked about the M2 being too tail-happy and sliding out on them, thus making their times worse. Idk why they wouldn't have dialed up the traction control in that scenario since there's 10 settings of it.
