lol you know what I mean.

If you raced two Supras at 50% throttle, one with sport and one with sport plus, the sport plus would be faster because it’s requesting more torque than sport at the same throttle request. At 100% throttle, both modes request the exact same torque.

Maybe YouTube creators race at 50% throttle?
The results of many different people and regions comparing 2 different models of the same 2 platforms. Not Sport and Sport Plus. Like I said the very minuscule difference could simply be drag of the Z4 vs Supra in 1320. My comment was just to say Sport and Sport Plus won’t damage and isn’t “bad” for your car. Everyone seemed to be alarmed over whether adding it was a negative (add it or reverse adding it etc) which it’s simply not. That’s all I was trying to clarify. The way the throttle is mapped and speed at which applied can alter the sound of your vehicle because I’ve experienced it personally.

There is no walking back. I was speaking about a Z4 and Supra comparison not Supra and Supra comparison on YT. I said my Supra vs Supra comparison yields no butt dyno difference it’s only audible difference. Go back and read, there’s nothing to walk back about. Your misunderstanding isn’t my problem.

dude… I was wondering if you were still around. Glad you kept the Supra!
Heh don't hold your breath, I have new tires and so it's going back to the dealer soon and if they won't fix my harder to notice issues im escalating to corporate and if that doesn't work I'm going car shopping. MAYBE I'll just get a manual supra (I'd want automatic but it'd be stupid to buy and sell the "same car") so that I can stay in the platform but have a "good" reason to sell this one

Hello sport plus enthusiasts.. Does anyone know what SportExpert_Motorstart means?

Does that mean that engine start would be in Sport Plus?

So maybe it’s because my car is a manual, but out of curiosity I enabled sport plus tonight and tested throttle sensitivity differences and expected it to be like my M4cs…

well it’s not. The throttle is actually MORE sensitive in the original sport than sport plus, or at least the throttle curve is more meaty in the mid range. It was easy to test. Get up to speed and accelerate in a low gear like 6th and change modes.

So I just set it back to the original OEM setup as there was be benefit to sport plus at all.

Not gonna spend time to find the post now, but didn't someone say there isn't even a proper tune table for sport+ on Supra?

Forget that ....
Several Bimmer forum post say the same thing: this was a good summary

s/sp - suspension and steering same

sport - gas pedal response less aggresive than sport plus

sport - gear changes slower and less aggressive and will use lower gears
