Supra on track is very impressive. But I’m not sure you get the same outcome with equal drivers in both cars.
Sounds like there's enough room in the 450k price delta to afford professional driving lessons over several years to increase that gap
?

On the competitive side of things, the GT4 Supra holds up quite well, right up at the top of the same class of GT4 Porsches. It is pretty damn shocking tbh. Even at my amateur HPDE level, it’s not hard keeping up with any of the Cayman class Porsches. Only the really high end 911 variants, with equal drivers, you are absolutely right. The standard 911, S, targa & the likes, not so much.

wish OP can give some details on whats done to the car, like so

I need to know how much kyle paid for the bottom mount manifold. I'm amazed that the EFR even fit down there.

i believe it's a custom evolution of speed bottom mount manifold but you may have to ask him @kyle9

Agreed, the Supra is very quick, but not GT2 RS Clubsport quick in the hands of a driver who knows what they're doing.

It was pretty evident the driver of the RS wasn't really pushing in the corners.

Well sure. My supra would also be way faster with Randy Pobst driving it instead of me.

Reality is, we drive our cars in real life with real people that have all sorts of different skill levels. At Lime Rock, I beat up on GT3RS/GT4RS most of the time. GT4's are like not even close. The 911 Cup cars however, are usually driven by pros and absolutely annihilate me.

Would a GT3 or GT3RS with a really good driver be faster? Most likely. I just haven't found one yet.
