One thing I will say, if you buy the manual, keep the nannies on for a bit until you're used to it, because with peak torque at 1600 RPM you pop that clutch a little too fast, you'll end up on the salvage registry page quicker than a Mustang in a crowd.
So take it easy in the beginning lol.

You will never hit peak torque at 1600rpm...my S55 M2 Comp spec supposedly hits peak torque at 2500 but I never got that in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th...the closet was 4th at 3000 rpm. In 3rd I need 4000rpm to hit peak torque and in 2nd close to 5000rpm. I have driven tons of MT turbo cars and none of them hit peak torque that early in 1st. There is simply not enough engine load in 1st, thus not enough fuel, thus not enough exhaust gas to push the turbo to hit full boost that early in 1st or 2nd

There’s some truth to it’s more fun driving a slower car fast vs fast car slow.. but as you said, wtf do I know?

Depending on how the power is delivered. I hated the GT86 and even the S2000 on the road and everyone knows they are both slow on the straight. I don't mind them on the track because I can use momentum to offset the torque disadvantage. I love driving my S55 M2C on the road and on track because of the turbo torque. The MT Supra would be enjoyable to drive on the street because of the turbo torque. You can shift up only at 2k or 3k rpm and still feel the car pulling so you can shift between 2nd to 5th constantly without having to lose your license.

6-speed MT is set only for RZ. It is not available for the cheap SZ and SZ-R. However, being able to enjoy the pleasant engine feel of a straight-six turbo with an MT as you wish is a valuable presence in the Reiwa era.

It is also a point that a dedicated forged aluminum wheel is prepared only for the 6-speed MT grade of RZ. The price is about the same as the 8-speed sports AT specification, so it's about 7.3 million yen.

Minor changes will be implemented at the same time as the addition of the 6-speed MT, and although there is no change in the powertrain system itself, the maneuverability and driving feel will be matured, and the body color and interior color will be changed.

In a Supra I'd probably go with a black interior but I'd still be open to a tan interior. I do agree with 2JZ-No-Sh*t that you *have* to stay on top of keeping it clean. A black interior does retain more heat on hot summer days but it's certainly easier to maintain. For me it will depend on how the implementation looks up close.

The shade of yellow that Toyota has made available for the MKV is my favorite on those body lines. I love the blue as well but only second to the yellow. Many years ago a friend's father had a then brand new '93 RX-7 in a gorgeous shade of yellow and the impression it made whenever I'd visit never left me. The MKV's curvy styling lends itself very well to the Nitro Yellow color.

Yeah the special edition is manual only. The latest leak shows the same info as what I saw on the order simulator screen a couple weeks ago.

If they are borrowing the Z4’s cognac interior..it would never be my first choice and I would never walk into the dealer with the white/cognac combo on my mind.

But it does look classy..I guess. The fact that it’s a darker tan means it’ll probably be easier to keep clean than other BMWs that have a light tan option.

Yeah I guess I just haven’t been paying attention. The only thing I saw different for MT was a 3.0 SE trim. The other two 3.0 options stayed the same. No 2.0s ? I’m sure it’ll be announced soon.
