Not sure how this can be be called a "placebo" the clutch stop physically reduces the total amount of clutch pedal travel, that's not a placebo. Now whether or not you like the reduced travel, that's very subjective.
The placebo relates to the perceived effect, not the physicality of the change. Take the CDV delete, for example: The CDV is physically removed but does it actually make the car better to drive? After a few months living with it deleted, it's much of a muchness.

What, not the single best mod you can do to your Supra manual? I'm shocked. Thanks for the objective feedback.

Installed the clutch pedal stop, removed 2 spacers and it feels great with my short shifter.

I was considering the RE updated clutch pedal which is like $600, but I think this does just fine.

Does the 2$ elevator bolt from Home Depot and a couch leg rubber pad still work as a BMW clutch stop?

cough cough

True, reminds me of some people in the sti/wrx community who swore disabling hill assist made their driving experience better lol

Did that with my E46 and it was mint, I think it depends how much dead space you have. I just picked up a new supra and honestly it catches right off the bottom.

For anyone interested I did install one and it's been good, I will be doing a CDV delete next.

You can make one for like $5. Go to home depot/rona, get the Hillman 881203. Then a couple metal washers for adjustability and rubber bump stops.
