That guy pissed me off in the first 20 seconds. Great way to analyse a mechanical failure. Let the component hit the workshop floor then kick it around and stomp on it like a moron. These guys are "experts""I was scared it was going to be something like the slave had failed"
I think in almost any car I've worked on, I would have preferred a slave cylinder to have failed than for a clutch disc.
As soon as they mentioned drifting, though, I felt the root of the issue had been discovered.
Unfortunate thing is this video is probably going to give people a skewed viewpoint that the stock clutch may be inherently defective. I highly doubt anyone driving that car didn't significantly abuse that clutch for it to shred itself like that.
