Do you know if they can just unlock it and then we can proceed to use ecutek? or would it be tied to bm3?

Flex Fuel "sniffer" or just.. sensors allow for the tune to auto-adjust based on ethanol content. So rather than tuning for E40 or E30, you can tune for 'whatever happens to be in the car.'Sniffers? interesting whats that?
No this question gets asked alot through out this process. So to help explain it. Each Tuining suite has there own protocols for these things. Ecuteks is different than BM3, BM3s is different then MHD etc.Do you know if they can just unlock it and then we can proceed to use ecutek? or would it be tied to bm3?
what? lolSo US unlock at a centralized location? Can be done at each tuner with licensed software? A link would be nice, if this is already being discussed elsewhere.
I cant speak to how they will handle the networking of it. Maybe its something they have others do here in the US but i doubt it. Time will tell."This one shop in Russia" is what I'd call a centralized location, so I wanted to know if that was also the case in the US (only one shop can do it), or if a larger network of people figured out the secret sauce. I know some people have been resistant to having to take their ECU out and ship it to Russia, so within the US is obviously better. But you know, for most folks, it still probably means the downtime of not having an ECU while it's in the mail, and the concerns of USPS losing it.
He tunes on BM3 yes, but this is not something ill be doing anything with. There are alot of great suppliers for BM3 that are community driven so im not too worried about price gouging. Is Marin going to be involved in this deal or is that old news at this point? Any guess on total cost?
nah thats part of the processCracking the ECU Stateside?!
…is it weird that I’m aroused?
